Cristian Bucur holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, complemented by a Master’s in Information Security. With extensive experience across the business, industrial, education, and communication sectors, he brings a multidisciplinary perspective to strategic development and cybersecurity governance.
He is the founder and president of the Chamber of Commerce Canada–Romania, an organization dedicated to fostering bilateral economic cooperation, trade, and innovation between the two countries.
Cristian is fluent in English, French, Romanian, and German, allowing him to operate effectively in diverse international environments.
Maj (ret’d) Corneliu Chisu, CD, P.Eng.
Major (ret’d) Chisu is a graduate of Electrical Engineering (B.Eng. Polytechnic University of Bucharest, M.Eng, University of Toronto) Engineering Physics Specialty and of the Militia Staff Course (PMSC) Canadian Land Force Command and Staff College. He practiced engineering in Romania and Canada.
He began his military career in 1972, as an Air Defence Radar Operations officer in Romania. He joined the Canadian Forces in May 1990 and served as a Military Engineer in overseas operations in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Afghanistan in Kandahar.
He was a Senior Trade Analyst with the Italian Trade Commission in Romania and Canada and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Moldova.He served as a Member of the Canadian House of Commons (MP) representing the riding of Scarborough East-Pickering. He was recognised for his work with Canadian and foreign decorations.
Stefan Lesaru
Stefan is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of experience in the IT industry. As an experienced IT leader, he brings deep expertise in identity and access management (IAM), enterprise applications integrations, data and data center migrations, application and API security, and large-scale cybersecurity programs. Stefan has successfully led multidisciplinary teams and collaborated across multiple organizations, to deliver high-impact solutions.
He has a proven track record of leading complex, large-scale technology initiatives across public and private sectors. Stefan is deeply passionate about driving successful client outcomes and delivering measurable business value through strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and operational excellence. Stefan’s background includes direct involvement in product and services strategy, sales, delivery, and full P&L accountability for multimillion-dollar engagements. Throughout his career, he led initiatives ranging from complex system implementations to multi-year, multi-vendor transformation programs, always with a focus on innovation, risk management, and long-term value creation.
Claudia Pascu
Claudia Pascu is a Partner in Boyden’s Montreal office and a member of the global Environment Social and Governance practice as well as the Canadian Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practice. Claudia has nearly 20 years of experience in executive search and talent acquisition in large organizations and in professional services, both locally and internationally, and focuses her expertise on C-suite level searches across a variety of industries and geographies, including technology, manufacturing, mining, construction and consumer products.
Literatures from the University of Bucharest and is a member of the Order of Human Resources Professionals of Quebec. She has completed several professional trainings, including workshops on human capital strategies and strategic workforce planning at Cornell University and Human Capital Institute; communication at the University of Montreal; and diversity and inclusion (Humance/Laval University) and CCDI.
Claudia is a member of the Board of Directors of the University of Montreal.

Experienced as a Production Manager, Actor, and Producer, Ray thrives on creating compelling narratives and forging meaningful connections through digital media. As a Video Producer, he has collaborated with renowned artists and organizations, including Los Muñequitos de Matanzas, Chucho Valdés, Irakere, MCJ & Cool G and Carl Henry of CeSoul Music.
He was an early adopter of OnLine multimedia creation using RealOne Producer in the late 90s. Ray is partner at ACP Promotions—a boutique digital PR agency in Montreal, Canada.
